The Cultural Fest- Indian Folk Vibes

Dancing is nothing except dreaming with your feet and performing on folk beats is like breathing your culture . It reflects the oneness of soul and body and the divinity embodies when the heart dances on folk beats !

To nurture its students with the cultural lullabies of Mother India , MPGS Shastri Nagar hosted an Inter-Branch Cultural Fest , Indian Folk Vibes . The event commenced with the green welcome of the dignitaries_ the venerable Chief Guest , Major General (VSM) ( VETERAN) A.K.Rekhi ,the Guest of Honour Mrs. Veena Rekhi , the reputed judges Mrs. Madhuri Mishra - a reputed choreographer , Prof. Dr. Bhawana Grover Dua , a renowned Kathak dancer ,

Managing Director of MPS Group Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri Ji , Director of MPS Group, Mrs. Ketiki Singh Shastri Ji and the Advisor of MPS Group Mrs. Richa Sharma by Madam Principal , Mrs. Sapna Ahuja .

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by all the dignitaries. Madam Principal prefaced the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. The dancing divas of the school presented an invocation dance to seek the blessings of the Almighty for making the event successful .

It was the time for the competition Folk Ensembles in which the participants attired in various beautiful costumes introduced themselves and their costumes . Indeed it presented a kaleidoscopic panorama of the majestic opulence of India .

Sanjivani Agarwal of class XII G was awarded the prestigious Kusum Shastri Award. In her address Sanjeevni thanked the Management and teachers for their support and guidance.

Rhythmic Feet Competition participants' scintillating performances stole the hearts of the audience.

The Chief Guest Major General A. K. Rekhi ( VSM) ( Veteran ), the judges - Mrs. Madhuri Mishra, Prof. Dr. Bhawana Grover Dua and the Management motivated all appreciating all the performances.

The most awaited moments i.e. the result declaration reached at this juncture . Jahanvi Chaudhary and Misthi Sharma of MPGS Shastri Nagar were the winners of Folk Ensembles . MPFGS was the First Runner- Up and MPS Main Wing was the Second Runnner- Up respectively .

RHYTHMIC Feet trophy was won by Ojaswani Sharma of MPGS Shastri Nagar. Samsara The World Academy was declared First Runner- Up and MPFGS was the Second Runner- Up. The most coveted Rolling Trophy of Indian Folk Vibes was awarded to MPGS Shastri Nagar.

The Grand Finale added elation and glory to the winning moments .

Madam Principal proposed vote of thanks . The Programme culminated with the National Anthem.

It was the gala time for all as not only the event showcased the unparallel beauty of India but also the winners were ecstatic with their victory . Indeed the whole show was a beautiful treat to eyes and soul l!
