True leaders don't create followers...they create more leaders! .... And the Investiture Ceremony is a platform to showcase the leadership skills and abilities of the students boosting up their morale to grow as the responsible citizens. For the same, Meerut Public Girls' School Shastri Nagar organized the Investiture Ceremony. The event commenced with the green welcome of the Chief Guest Col. Rishi Dhillon ,VSM followed by the lighting of the lamp and melodious welcome song.
After the synchronised March Past , Madam Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja administered the oath to the Students' Council 2024. School Captain - Neha Tiwari, Vice -School Captain -; Shailja Rajput, Sports Captain Karishma Teotia , Vice Sports Captain Mahi Chaudhary, Ahilya House Captain Arushi Singh, Gargi House Captain Noera Khan , Maitreyi House Captain Niyati Dawra and Sarojini House Captain Tanishka Sharma along with other Council Members swore to take the institution to Greater Heights following the vision and mission of the school by performing their duties with utmost dedication and concern.
After the lighting of the torch by the Chief Guest the Students' Council 2024 was conferred with the badges to usher in a new era of responsibilities and honour.
On this occasion,Anubhuti Jain the student of XII A was felicitated with the glittering Kusum Shastri Trophy for her brilliant educational journey in the institution. Astha Tyagi, the Best Speaker of the IX Patrician Inter-School Debate Competition 2024 organized by St. Mary's Academy, was also felicitated for her outstanding oratory skills and success.
The Chief Guest Col. Rishi Dhillon congratulated the Students' Council and advised the students to focus on their studies and career and stop using mobile phones excessively.Madam Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja congratulated the Council 2024 and inspired all the students to carry forward the rich legacy of the the school with their examplary deeds and values.
The School Captain Neha Tiwari expressed her unwavering commitment to fulfill her responsibilities.
The event culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal Mr Shiv Suri followed by the National Anthem.
