Basant Panchami Celebration

As winter approaches its end , Basant Panchami , a festival that marks the onset of spring season is celebrated in reverence to the Hindu deity Goddess Saraswati, epitome of learning , music & art.

On this occasion the students of MPGS ,Shastri Nagar celebrated Basant Panchami during their online classes on 3rd , February 2022.

Children celebrated the festival by dressing up in yellow coloured attire. They decorated their background exquisitely on the theme of Basant Panchami and participated in different activities such as making yellow paper flower, paper kite, speech on Basant Panchami and presenting a poem or song on 'Goddess Saraswati'. They celebrated the festival with a lot of ebullience and fanfare and also learnt about some fun facts related to the day and significance of the festival. They also mentioned the ways in which they celebrate the festival with their family and friends. Students and the teachers enjoyed the festival on the online platform with enthusiasm and joy.

In the school Saraswati Pujan was also organized.

Madam Principal along with the staff offered the Goddess Saraswati flowers and wished everyone happy Basant full of happiness, joy and peace.
