Children's Day Celebration

Childhood is an enchanting vista, endless fun, a joyful classroom and an era of imagination.

MPGS Shastri Nagar celebrated Children's Day with full zeal and fervour. A special assembly was conducted by the Senior Section teachers. The celebration commenced with an offering of flowers to Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru ji by all the coordinators and council students. A speech was also delivered highlighting the importance of Children's Day. A beautiful bouquet and a card were given to the council members by all the coordinators.

Then all boarded a kaleidoscopic flight 60263 depicting various glimpses of India's culture taking off from Punjab and again landing in Punjab.

Primary Section teachers also created a classroom scene on the stage presenting the flair of students' life.

The teachers of classes 9 and 10 thundered the stage with their power-packed dance performance on Punjabi beats.

Then Middle Section teachers presented a scintillating performance on a melodious mash-up.

The beautiful blossoms of MPGS, SN, were awestruck and grooved in with the peppy performances of the teachers.

Indeed, the celebration being a token of love, affection, care and concern for the students, strengthened the bond between the teachers and students.

Although the programme culminated with the National Anthem and the address of the Senior Coordinator, Mrs Chandni Sahni, it began a time filled with happiness, joy and fun rejuvenating the souls of all and endowing each face with mesmerising smiles.

Children, the best creation of God, are the future of India. Nurture them right so that they grow up to be able leaders and lead the world towards light.
