World Worker's Day

Each work is significant . Everything that is done for the betterment of the society or an individual has dignity and importance and it must be acknowledged in a full fledged way. Infact labour is the ladder through which human dignity and creative excellence is expressed .

To acknowledge and appreciate the importance and endeavours of the proletariat staff , MPGS Shastri Nagar celebrated World Worker's Day. On this occasion , the school choir sang a song celebrating the role of the labour. A poem dedicated to the hard work of workers was also recited by a Hindi teacher. Madam Principal appreciated all the maintenance staff for their sincerity, dedication towards their duties and responsibilities. Some interesting games like Passing the Parcel and Quiz were also conducted for them. Their answers were quite interesting. They all thoroughly enjoyed the programme. On this occasion a token of appreciation i.e sweet was given to them. At the culmination of the programme on behalf of the maintenance staff a lab incharge expressed her gratitude to the Management and the Principal for their care and support.

The celebration is also to honour the men and women who fought tirelessly for workers' rights . The labour staff is the strong foundation of the institution to reach its destination successfully .

Indeed work is an extension of the personality. It is an achievement and a way in which a person defines himself , measures his worth and his humanity.
