Plastic Free Environment

*_Do something drastic, cut the plastic!_*

Plastics have become an integral part of everyone’s life as it is convenient. But one thing we all forget is that every convenience comes with some other drawbacks. Plastics have become a threat to our ecosystem and it has also started affecting the biodiversity of our planet.

To make the students learn about the hazardous impacts of plastics on the environment and the eco-friendly alternatives to replace plastics, MPGS Shastri Nagar conducted an activity "Plastics Free environment"

In this activity, students displayed plastic objects such as bottles, bags, tiffins, files, and disposables along with their substitutes such as steel bottles, jute bags, steel tiffins, jute files, and earthen vessels showing eco-friendly alternatives of plastics. Teachers and students took an oath that they will discourage the use of plastic in the upcoming session.

The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by all and students acquired a beneficial insight to safeguard the earth with their concern and care for the environment.
