Student Assessments

The scholastic session is divided into two terms. Each term ends with a Written Assessment. Marks obtained are recorded in the Result Card. Parents are expected to personally collect the Result Card of their wards on the Result Declaration Day.

First Term:
Duration: April to September
Mid Term Written Assessment: September
Second Term
Duration: October to February
Final Written Assessment: Feb/March

1. Apart from the Term Examinations two more periodic tests will be held for the purpose of gradient learning of these tests one will be pre-mid term in July and the other post midterm in January with a portion of the syllabus cumulatively covered. The gradually increasing syllabus will prepare the students for appearing in the Final Written Assessment with 100% syllabus. The school will take the average of the best two tests for final marks submission.
Classes I to V will follow the same examination schedule but the syllabus will be defined by the school.
2. Notebook submission would be a part of internal assessment. This would address the critical aspect of regularity, punctuality, neatness and notebook upkeep.
3. Subject Enrichment Activities aimed at enrichment of the understanding and skill development of specific subjects will be recorded internally.

Parent Teacher Association - Meetings
Meetings are scheduled regularly in the School to encourage interaction with Parents and apprise them of their ward's overall progress. The meetings facilitate better understanding of the child and mutual co-operation between the School and Parents, to ensure all round development of the child. Generally two Meetings are held every Term-one well before the Exams to satisfy parents' queries and the other after the examination on the day of the of Result Declaration.

IT IS MANDATORY FOR PARENTS OR A GUARDIAN DESIGNATE TO ATTEND EVERY PARENT TEACHER MEETING AND INTERACT WITH ALL THE TEACHERS CONCERNED TO TAKE A COMPLETE FEEDBACK OF THEIR WARD'S PERFORMANCE. NO BROTHERS OR NEIGHBORS OR UNCLES WILL BE ENTERTAINED ON PTM's. STUDENT TO WEAR SCHOOL UNIFORM ONLY WHILE ACCOMPANYING THEIR PARENTS FOR PTM's.
