The Guess Game Activity

"Sense organs are the organs that respond to external stimuli by conveying impulses to the sensory nervous system."

"Our body is just a part of a soul blessed with five sense organs".

I use the sense of sight each day, gazing at the world when at play.

I hear the stomping of shoes, my hearing sense is number two.

Eating is such a treat, I know the difference between bitter and sweet.

I use my hands to know and touch, each thing has a texture oh so different!

Sniffing all the odours out, my nose keeps me standing out.

To introduce different sense organs of the human body, The Guess The Game Activity based on Sense Organs was organized for the tiny tots of Kindergarten at THE FIRST STEP M.P.G.S Shastri Nagar. The facilitators along with teachers set up five different senses to make students understand the function and importance of each organ in a fun and innovative way.

The children got an opportunity to have hands-on experience with the elementary purpose of each organ. Visual aids comprised of the sight and touch sense of different textures and sensations were introduced. Taste and smell had children experienced different tastes and fragrances respectively. Lastly, hear had children experienced different types of sounds followed by pot on the functioning of the ear.

The objective of providing an interactive way of introducing the five sense organs to the children was effectively achieved as each child participated in a multitude of activities organized to help them focus and notice the function of each organ more closely.
