Inter House Maths Quiz

"Competition is the best form of motivation."

Quiz Contests are a great way of analysing how well one understands a subject and correlates theoretical knowledge with its practical application in real life. It encourages students to utilize their knowledge and look beyond what they are taught in class.

Keeping in mind the resonance of the above-mentioned words, MPGS Shastri Nagar conducted an Inter House Maths Quiz for the students of the Primary Section. The quiz comprised four interesting rounds which were: Roam in Rome, Tell the Time, Shapes and Patterns Quantifiers. The students were very spontaneous in giving the answers. All four teams gave tough competition to each other. The programme was graced by the honourable Senior Co-ordinator-Mrs Chandini Sahni.

Ahilya House bagged the first position, Sarojini House and Gargi House together stood second and Maitreyi House was in the third position.

It was an enriching and interesting competition. The objective of conducting this quiz was to enable students of different houses to think out of the box and promote team play besides building competitive spirits among the teams. It was also helpful in developing concentration, observation and visualization.
