World Earth Day

Plant seeds of happiness , hope , health , shiny success and selfless love ; it will all come back to you in abundance . This is the law of nature .

World Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April every year to spread awareness about conserving earth.The theme of this year is " Invest in your Planet ".

MPGS Shastri Nagar celebrated the Earth Day. The event commenced with the speech of Madam Principal. Ma'am appealed all to plant more and more trees to conserve the earth and mother nature. She also asked them to segregate the waste in order to make way for easy decomposition and to implement the rules of 3 Rs', i.e. re-use, re-cycle and reduce.

The students presented a dance performance enacting the full form of Earth which is , E - Earth , A - Animals , R - Recycling, T - Travelling and H - Humans. All the students enjoyed the performance and learnt the informative message conveyed through the performance.

The teachers enlightened the students about the significance of planting trees and motivated them to sow the seeds- bulb and plant saplings and nurture them throughout the whole life cycle.The teachers also asked them to follow the basic house keeping rules such as switching off electrical appliances while not in use, upcycling and reusing of old garments and recycling of paper, plastic and metal respectively.

The students of Kindergarten also planted saplings and made beautiful head gears on this occasion. They presented saplings to Madam Principal as token of love.

The school wishes that all must care the Mother Nature to live a happy , healthy and hearty life.
