MPS Main Wing Finishes Runner-Up at CBSE Cluster XIX Basketball Championship

The Under-19 Boys’ Basketball Team of Meerut Public School, Main Wing secured the Runner-Up position at the CBSE Cluster XIX Basketball Championship, held from 19 to 21 August 2026 at Divya Public School, Thanabhawan, Shamli.

Coached by Mr. Harendra and Mr. Benedict John, the team progressed through the championship to finish second in the Cluster XIX competition.

Demiyan (XII), Saksham Kaushik (X), Owen Muttum (XII), Mallikarjun Nagaraj Tuppad (XII), Pranav Sakhuja (X), Rachit Dhankar (XII), Aryan Sangwan (XII), Rudrkash Goel (XII), Chirag (XII), Tanuj Kumar (XII), Aalok (XII) and Ansh Chauhan (XI).

The team’s journey to the final reflected consistent effort on the court and effective coordination under the guidance of their coaches. The achievement was celebrated as a proud moment for Meerut Public School, Main Wing, adding another significant accomplishment to the school’s sporting legacy. The school congratulated the players and coaches on securing the Runner-Up position at the CBSE Cluster XIX level and wished them continued progress in their sporting journey.
