Greetings to all!

November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Divas every year in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru born on November 14, 1889. Nehru who was fondly called Chacha Nehru, was very popular amongst children for his love.

Keeping childhood in mind and to make this event memorable for the Mpiets, Meerut Public School, (Main Wing) celebrated Children’s Day on 14 November 2022 in the school premises with great vigour and enthusiasm.

The teachers made the occasion memorable for the children by conducting a special assembly followed by the Chanting of Dohas and a short and crisp skit.

The highlight of the day was the Fun Races like *Red Filly Pepper Race, Ball and Noodle Race, Rollicking Relay Race, etc.

Thereafter, the teachers made this day special by organizing various games like Roll the Dice, Find the Ball, Hit the Pyramid, etc. followed by a Potluck Party. The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day to the fullest.

The School Principal Dr Shikha Koak wished the children and showered her blessings on them.She concluded by saying

“ Every child is a different kind of flower that altogether makes this world a beautiful garden.”
