“Just education is not enough; children must have real time experience”
*An educational trip to Delhi was organised for students of Meerut Public School, Main Wing for Classes 6-12. The visit provided the students with a unique opportunity to explore the natural world of Amrit Udyan and delve into the fascinating realm of science at the Delhi Science Museum. Amrit Udyan, also called the ‘soul’ of the Presidential Palace is a sprawling park filled with lush greenery, diverse flora, and recreational activities. Students had the chance to observe and learn about various plant species and admired the picturesque landscape full of flowers in full bloom, manicured lawns and hedges, Mughal-style canals, and terraces. They also had the privilege to visit the enormous library at the Rashtrapati Bhavan housing all the souvenirs and gifts received by the President from various countries. The visit to the Delhi Science Museum, a treasure trove of scientific knowledge and interactive displays gave the students the opportunity to explore a wide range of exhibits related to Physics, Biology, Astronomy and Technology. The Holo Show, describing the human Anatomy deepened students’ understanding of the natural world. The 3D- Show gave the students a multi-sensory experience of the underwater world and virtual reality simulations that transported them to different environments, giving them insight into the nuances of marine life. The evening wrapped up being fun, adventurous, enlightening and a memorable day for all the students.This educational trip has left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring them to pursue knowledge in the field of science.
