The Honourable PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji announced that 26 December would be commemorated as Veer Bal Diwas from the year 2022 onwards.

As per the CBSE guidelines, MPS Main Wing organised an array of activities to pay homage to the great valour and supreme sacrifice of Char Sahibzadas, sons of the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Students from Grades 1 to 5 joined their hands together and attempted to imbibe the qualities of sacrifice, courage, steadfastness, confidence, responsibility and mindfulness as exhibited by the sahibzadas.

An animated movie *'Chaar Sahibzaade'* was showcased to demonstrate the selflessly supreme sacrifice and indomitable courage of the Sahibzadas. A Paragraph Writing, Comics Reading, Quiz and Poem Recitation were organised to honour their sacrifice. On this occasion a special assembly was also organised in which the life and martyrdom of the four sahibzadas was highlighted. The Headmistress, Ms Navneet Kaur Chadha, addressed the students to take inspiration from their courage and sacrifice for the service of community and nation. Ths school Principal Dr Shikha Koak appreciated the efforts of students and inspired them to imbibe the qualities of Char Sahibzadas.
