The 43rd Founders' Day celebration of Meerut Public School Main Wing was a memorable occasion marked by tradition, reverence, and gratitude. The event, held on 12 July 2024, commenced with a warm welcome extended to the esteemed management, who have nurtured the institution with unwavering dedication over the years.
The proceedings began with a soul-stirring Bhajan and shlokas recited by the school's Choir group, filling the air with melodious devotion. Following this, students recited shlokas.
A sacred Hawan Ceremony followed, symbolizing purity and auspicious beginnings. During this ceremony, new student Sarthak Tomar, the latest addition to the school's family, was honored as he received flowers from the esteemed Co-founder and Vice Chairperson, Honourable Kusum Shastri Ma'am, a gesture signifying a warm welcome into the school's nurturing environment.
The event continued with an insightful address from Managing Director MPS(Group), Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri highlighting the school's achievements and future goals of adding new amenities to enhance the school's infrastructure, depicting the Management's commitment to holistic education and reflecting their dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals within our school community. Among these additions are a state-of-the-art KG computer lab, designed to introduce our youngest learners to technology in a safe and engaging manner. Additionally, a 300-meter synthetic running track will promote physical fitness across all grades, for students' wellness, there will be an open gym, tailored separately for ages 5-10 and 10 years and above, ensuring age-appropriate activities and safety. Moreover, a mini-indoor AC auditorium promises to be a hub for cultural and educational events, while indoor AC basketball and badminton courts will provide ample opportunities for sports enthusiasts to hone their skills year-round.
Dr. Alka Srivastava Gaur, the School Principal, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of holistic education and character development in shaping responsible global citizens.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of Prasad.
