A Proud Representation at the 77th Republic Day Celebration by Meerut Public School, Main Wing

NCC Cadets of MPS, Main Wing actively participated in the 77th Republic Day Celebration organized by the 72 UP Battalion NCC. The programme was conducted with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit, and participation was witnessed by 7 JD/JW schools and 6 SD/SW schools and universities.

During the celebration, the MPS, Main Wing cadets showcased their talents across various activities. Cadet Sharanya Singh delivered a Hindi speech highlighting patriotic values and national unity, while Cadet Janvi Abhishek presented an English speech that received accolades for its diction and eloquence. The significance of Republic Day and its importance in Indian democracy was explained by Cadet Akshita Gupta.

Cadet Ujjwal Rathi participated in the poster-making competition, demonstrating creativity and awareness, and Cadet Dhruv rendered a patriotic singing performance, adding fervour to the programme.

The performances of the cadets were highly appreciated by the organizing authorities. Appreciation Prizes were awarded to Cadet Dhruv and Cadet Ujjwal Rathi for their commendable performances, while an Appreciation Award was conferred upon ANO Sonia Singh for her dedication and guidance. Cadet Janvi Abhishek was specially appreciated by Col. R. S. Bhandari for her excellent pronunciation and confident delivery.

All cadets were motivated to perform well in upcoming NCC camps and aim for selection in the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) Parade. The school’s participation in this event stands as a matter of pride and reflects its commitment to nurturing confidence, leadership, holistic development, and patriotic spirit among students.
