Independence Day Celebration

Meerut Public School Main Wing proudly celebrated Independence Day on August 15, 2024, with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The ceremony began with hoisting of the flag by Managing Director MPS (Group) Mrs Ketiki Singh Shastri. As the national flag soared high, students and faculty joined in rendition of the national anthem, marking a moment of unity and respect.

Following the flag hoisting, the school choir delivered a stirring patriotic song expressing the joy of our freedom.

Raghav Gupta, the school Head Boy and Navya Sharma, the Head Girl took the stage to deliver speeches on the theme "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India). Their address focused on India's progress and youth's vital role in steering the nation towards further development.

Ketiki Ma'am in her spellbinding address encouraged students to understand the difference between freedom and responsibilities. She also laid stress on respecting their freedom and exercising their rights.

Dr Alka Srivastava Gaur, the School Principal, in her poignant address, underscored the significance of Independence Day and the ongoing journey towards a developed India. She emphasized the importance of education and individual responsibility in achieving national goals, leaving the audience with a sense of purpose and dedication.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of sweets by the benign Management.
