Meerut Public School, Main Wing, celebrated its 45th Founders' Day with reverence and gratitude, commemorating the vision and legacy of its Founder and Chairman, Late Shri Tarachand Shastri Ji, whose commitment to quality education and strong values laid the foundation of the institution on 12 July 1982.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Co-Founder and President of MPS Group, Mrs. Kusum Shastri, along with members of the Management Committee, Principal Dr. Alka Srivastava Gaur, and the teaching fraternity. This was followed by a floral tribute to the revered Founder, remembering his invaluable contribution to education and nation-building.
A sacred Havan was performed amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns, creating an atmosphere of devotion and positivity. Members of the MPS family offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of students and society.
The occasion also celebrated the enduring legacy of Late Shri Tarachand Shastri Ji and the continued growth of the institution under the guidance of Mrs. Kusum Shastri and the visionary leadership of Managing Director Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri. Their commitment to academic excellence, value-based education, and the harmonious integration of modern learning with India's rich cultural heritage continues to guide the MPS Group in its pursuit of excellence.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Alka Srivastava Gaur reaffirmed that the true strength of an educational institution lies in its values. She emphasised that Meerut Public School remains committed to nurturing disciplined, compassionate, and responsible individuals through quality education rooted in integrity and character.
The programme concluded with the distribution of Prasad, marking the celebration on a spiritual and harmonious note. The occasion served as a heartfelt tribute to the vision of the Founder and reaffirmed the school's unwavering commitment to carrying forward his ideals while continuing its journey 'To Greater Heights.'
