Informative and Interactive Budget Session

An Interactive Budget Session 2022- 23

Budget isn't about restricting what you can spend. It gives you permission to spend without guilt or regret .

The Commerce and Economics Department of Meerut Public School, Main Wing prepared a PowerPoint Presentation on the Annual Budget 2022 - 23 with the aim to apprise the students that the present budget revolves around four key pillars :

-Inclusive development

-Productivity Enhancement

-Financing investments

-PM Gati Shakti

It further highlighted the eight elements of inclusive growth which are- Employment Generation , Agricultural Development , Poverty Reduction , Environment Protection , Industrial Development, Equal distribution of income, Reduction in Regional disparities and Social Sector Development .

The PPT also gave an overview of the Union Budget 2022-23 , where the country is expected to grow at 9.27 % This budget will benefit the youth, women , farmers and backward classes .

The Education Budget focused mainly on Digital Education , Creation of Digital Universities , job creation, Agricultural universities and Skill Development Program .The Health budget stressed on rolling out National Digital Health Ecosystem.

Finally the presentation threw light on the Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman's speech that she delivered in the Lok Sabha during Budget session of the Parliament. This budget will lay the foundation for India's Economic growth and expansion for the next 25 years .

This presentation was most impressively explained by Mrs. Pinki Rathi , PGT Economics.

The session was followed by an interactive session in which the students not only expressed their views but also cleared their doubts regarding the current budget. Moreover the students gave their views on the School budget.
