SWARNIM BHARAT: VIRASAT AUR VIKAS

The real tribute to our martyrs is not in words, but in the way we serve our nation.

Meerut Public School, Main Wing, joyously commemorated 79th Independence Day on August 15, 2025, with spirited zeal and profound patriotic fervour.

The celebration commenced with the ceremonial unfurling of the national flag by Col. Gyan Singh Tomar, Director (Academics & Systems) MPS Group. Students and faculty joined in a stirring rendition of the national anthem, evoking a deep sense of unity and reverence.

The school band enthralled the gathering with the soulful strains of VANDE MATRAM, seamlessly blended with a melodious medley that captured the essence of freedom and patriotism.

Uday Parashar, the Head Boy, delivered an inspiring speech on the theme “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas”, linking our rich heritage with the nation’s progress and stressing the youth’s role in shaping a prosperous future.

The patriotic fervour rose as students presented a vibrant dance, Jashn-e-Azadi, celebrating the glory of independence.

Dr. Alka Srivastava Gaur, the School Principal in her heartfelt address, urged citizens to act responsibly—stand against corruption, protect the environment, aid the needy, and uphold what is right.

Students and teachers echoed these values, emphasising the need to question, act, and work for the nation’s betterment.

Director Sir, reminded all that each person is a vital pillar of the nation and urged mindful actions that contribute to its progress.
