Children's Day Celebration

"Children are the world's most valuable resources and the best HOPE for the FUTURE."

November 14 is celebrated as Children's Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. This day is celebrated in remembrance of our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru whose immense love for children is known world-wide. To make our children feel special this year, after a long hiatus, owing to the pandemic, Meerut Public School, Main Wing celebrated Children's Day in the school campus with full zeal and zest.

The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence. The celebration began with a special Morning Assembly beautifully conducted by the Principal and Teachers, followed by a variety of fun filled activities, games and races like - Paddle it on, Zombie on the go, Relish the Sweet Course, The Mummy, Spellspire Relay Race, etc. The exhilarating races were planned by the class teachers for their children. Adding more fun for the children, the school organised a Basket ball match between the teachers and students.

The winners of the races and match were felicitated by the School Principal, Dr. Shikha Koak. She paid tribute to Pt. Nehru and exhorted the children to dream big, work hard and follow the path of honesty, peace and harmony.
