Meerut Public School, Main Wing organized its Investiture Ceremony on 13 May 2026 in a dignified and inspiring atmosphere marked by discipline, responsibility and leadership.
The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, IAS (District Magistrate, Meerut). The event was further honoured by the presence of Dr. Umang Arora (renowned Pediatrician), Dr. Seema Tyagi, Mr. Vikramjeet Jeet Singh Shastri (Managing Director, MPS Group) and Col. Gyan Singh Tomar (Director - Academics and Systems, MPS Group).
The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the badge pinning and sash ceremony for the newly elected Student Council members. During the oath-taking ceremony, the council pledged to serve the school with honesty, discipline, sincerity, and dedication. The traditional torch handover by the Sports Captains symbolised the transfer of leadership and responsibility.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Alka Srivastava Gaur encouraged students to become responsible, disciplined, and compassionate citizens. The prestigious ‘Mrs. Kusum Shastri Trophy’ was presented to Uday Parashar (Class XII-B, Batch 2025–26) for his excellence in academics, leadership, discipline, co-curricular activities, and moral values.
The school also released its newsletter, The Post, showcasing students’ achievements and creative pursuits throughout the year.
The programme concluded with the National Song followed by the National Anthem.
