To mark the momentous occasion of India’s ascendancy as G-20 Presidency and to inspire young minds, a Yuvamanthan Model G-20 Summit was successfully organized under the able guidance of the Management of Meerut Public School, Main Wing for students of various schools of Meerut. The school achieved yet another milestone as 20 teams from the city schools, engaged in global dialogue on diplomacy, leadership and collective duty towards our Mother Earth. The “Model G20 Meeting” exposed school children to the discussion process that takes place in a typical G-20 meeting.

The event was embellished by the esteemed presence of acclaimed Chief Guest, Mr. Rajendra Agarwal, MP, Meerut Distt. and Guest of Honour, Ms. Aishwarya, Director YMG-20 and renowned social worker, Prof. Anju Tyagi, Managing Director, MPS(Group) Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri and Principals of all the Wings of MPS (Group). The program ensued with the kindling of Holy lamp to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. A mesmerising cultural extravaganza, enthralled one and all.

The school magazine - “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” which reflects the school’s culture - a precious souvenir for the students and the staff, reflecting their creativity and imagination was also released by the Distinguished Chief Guest, Guests of Honour and the Hon’ble Management on the pious occasion.

Venerable Chief Guest, Mr. Rajendra Aggarwal commended the students for their remarkable solutions to tackle climate change and urged everyone to reduce consumption and practice sustainable solutions. The Judges Ms. Aishwarya and Prof. Anju Tyagi admired the students for their extensive research and oratory skills. They were all praised by the School Management and the School Principal, Dr. Shikha Koak for their arduous efforts in creating an innovative platform to unlock the true potential of the Indian youth.
