Constitution Day

Constitution Day is observed every year on 26 November in India. This day celebrates the adoption of the Constitution in India.

Constitution Day is also known as Samvidhan Diwas and National Law Day. The first Constitution Day was celebrated on 26 November 2015. This day aims to promote constitutional values among the citizens of India. The day is also an occasion to honour the first Law Minister of independent India, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, who played a pivotal role in drafting the Constitution of India.

To apprise the students about the day and cherish the glory and to reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideology of the great Indian Constitution. Meerut Public School, Main Wing, organized several activities like Preamble Song was sung in the assembly, a street play on Fundamental Duties was organised to highlight the basic differences between the Indian Constitution and that of other countries. A Youth Parliament was organized, where the students outlined innovative solutions to the problems faced by Indian youth in the country and demonstrated how the Parliament operates. They also emphasized that youth should be the voice of new India and contribute to society.

The school Principal Dr. Shikha Koak thanked the Management for providing an opportunity for the students to showcase their talent and encouraged the participants with her blessings.
