Republic Day Celebration 2023

Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26thJanuary. It is a *red letter day* as our Constitution was enforced.Republic Day is marked throughout India with flag unfurling ceremony followed by parade by armed forces at Rajpath in New Delhi.

*This Republic Day was all the more special as India celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and most importantly under the able leadership of our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji India held the presidency of the G20.* This year All Central Armed Forces showcased a common tableau for the 2023 Republic Day parade with the theme of *Nari Shakti.*

Meerut Public School,Main Wing , celebrated this auspicious occasion with great eclat in the presence of our Honourable Joint Director Sir, Respected Principal mam, Coordinators, teachers and students.

Our Joint Director Sir, Col. Gyan Singh Tomar accompanied by Principal ma'am Dr. Shikha Koak , unfurled the National Flag, followed by the release of pigeons, as a symbol of unity, and peace.A heart warming rendition of *Vasudeva Kutumbakam* was presented by the school band resonating the patriotic zeal.

Indeed, it was not only a day of celebration,but a day of remembrance and veneration.We owe our existence, our freedom to our great leaders who have made this great Constitution for us.

Principal ma'am addressed the gathering and reminded all of us to uphold the rich traditions of India and cherish its culture.The programme was concluded by a Vote of Thanks.
