Independence Day 2020

Observing the given directives of the Government to maintain social distancing in prevention of the spread of Covid 19, Meerut Public School, Main Wing celebrated the 74^th Independence Day of our beloved country with unprecedented fervour, in presence of a lean gathering comprising of our honourable management, Principal Ma’am and supervisors.

On the auspicious occasion, Managing Director Sir, Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri and Principal Ma'am unfurled the national flag. Tri coloured balloons and pigeons were also released as a symbol of freedom and liberty.

Honourable Principal Ma'am, in her address, reminded us of our indomitable freedom fighters and unsung heroes who made the supreme sacrifice of their lives to keep our tomorrow unfettered. She made us pledge to serve our motherland with heart and bring it glory and laurels with our dignified deeds.

Her inspiring words strengthened our resolution to pave our way towards an Atmanirbhar and Swachh Bharat.

To ensure that the fervour of patriotism lives on, the Virtual Celebration of the entire function was shared with the students through a video giving them a sense of participation.

Patriotism is an ingrained quality that knows no boundaries, hence the Mpiets, endowed with the spirit of nationalism, exhibited their mantle in a plethora of activities that were organized for the students throughout the week. Students of primary wing enthusiastically created wonders on paper as they made tri-coloured crafts like masks, etc displaying their aesthetic sense and fine-motor skills. Posters on the topic “Gandagi-mukt Bharat” were made by students of Middle Wing while students of Senior Section penned down their views on the “Aatma-nirbhar Bharat” they envision.
