Independence Day Celebration 2022

जो भरा नहीं है भावों से बहती जिसमें रसधार नहीं वह हृदय नहीं है पत्थर है जिसमें स्वदेश का प्यार नहीं

Greetings to all!

It was a red-letter day in the history of India when the country got its freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years for us to break the shackles of slavery. On this auspicious 75th Independence Day, Meerut Public School,Main Wing , celebrated "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" with unprecedented fervour and great pomp and show in presence of our Honourable Management, Principal, Coordinators, teachers and students.

Our Director ma'am, Mrs. Ketiki Singh Shastri Ma'am and Principal ma'am Dr. Shikha Koak , hoisted the National Flag, followed by release of balloons and pigeons, as a symbol of unity, liberty and freedom. A heart warming rendition of Vande Matram was presented by the students followed by March past resonating the patriotic zeal.

Our Honourable Director ma'am and our Principal ma'am, in their address, reminded us of our unsung heroes and freedom fighters, who made supreme sacrifice of their lives ,to keep our tomorrow unfettered. We pledge to serve our motherland and bring glory with our dignified deeds. A nukkad natak performance accentuated our resolution to pave our way towards a Swachch Bharat.

The program was followed by a Basketball match and roller skating championship as part of the festivity. Various classroom activities were organised by the teachers like Patriotic song antakshari, poster making competition, slogan writing competition, Independence Day quiz, to name a few.

With great pride and enthusiasm, MPS Main Wing, actively participated in 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, prabhat pheri, uploading the selfie and pinning the flag. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country
