Inter House Badminton Tournament

*Greetings!*

With the aim to promote a healthy competition, Meerut Public School Main Wing organised an Inter House Badminton Tournament from 25th May 2022 to 26th May 2022. This initiative was undertaken to create an environment for empowering the talent of children who will become pride for the nation in future.

The Tournament commenced with the blessings and motivation of the School Principal Dr. Shikha koak, who thereafter declared the tournament open. The two day tournament witnessed the thrill and excitement among the spectators and the hard work and determination among the players to win. The winners of the tournament were Sidharth Vats and Vineet Verma from Gandhi House in under 19 Boys' Category and Sofia Soni and Khushi from Gandhi house in under 19 Girls' Category. Abhinav Kumar and Lohitaksha were the winners from Gandhi house in under 14 Boys' Category. Certificate of Merit and Participation were given to the students. The School Principal appreciated the hard work of the students and their coaches from Physical Education Department. She also said that playing badminton is a real work out for the body and mind. So it involves an element of strategy to play the game correctly.
