Republic Day Celebration

Our brave heroes waged a valiant struggle for years to ensure that future generations could live their lives with freedom and dignity.

Every year on January 26th, India erupts in a symphony of saffron, white, and green, celebrating the momentous occasion of Republic Day. This day embodies the culmination of decades of our struggle for independence and the birth of a vibrant democracy enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

Instilling the feeling of pride and love for the country, Meerut Public School, Main Wing celebrated 75th Republic Day on 26 January,2024. The entire school courtyard was resplendent in the shades of tricolour. The programme commenced with a melodious patriotic song by the school choir and then everyone was acquainted with the significance of this red-letter day. Mrs. Alka Srivastava Gaur, the school Principal unfurled the tri colour and released the pigeons as a symbol of unity and peace. The medley presented by the school choir was a rollercoaster of emotions. The rendition of National Anthem filled everyone with pride and honour.

Principal Ma’am conveyed her best wishes to the entire MPS fraternity and said that our Constitution speaks of rights and duties, hence, we must not assert our rights without fulfilling our duties. She motivated all to be united in spirit of Indianness and take the nation to Greater Heights. The School Management also conveyed their best wishes to the students for a Happy Republic Day.
