Clubs at MPGS

Maths Club
Maths Club has been introduced with the aim of making Mathematics fun for students. It endeavours to help the students grasp Mathematical concepts better through activities like puzzles, shortcuts in calculations and games.
The activities of Maths Club are:
* Participation in Maths Olympiads and other competitions.
* Organizing inter school competitions on various Mathematics topics.
* Developing models and aids to facilitate a better grasp of mathematical concepts.
* National Mathematics Day celebration etc.

Literature Club
English has been regarded as the first global Lingua Franca. It has become part and parcel of almost every existing field.
Through the club's activities students are given a platform to boost their self-confidence, eliminate stage fright, and above all, express themselves freely.
Reading Mahotsav was organized by the club for students from Primary to Class XII. The students read their favourite stories and novels. Inter-house debates, elocution competitions, and extempore are among the activities that were conducted. During an Inter Branch Gita Mahotsav, students enthralled the judges and audience with their mesmerizing and engrossing explanation of the seventh chapter of Gita.
In the upcoming session, the club intends to host and organize more creative and innovative activities to bring forth the talents of the students.

Science Club
The intelligent use of science and technology is the key to achieving a new direction. The club offers numerous opportunities to conduct seminars, workshops, exhibitions and quiz competitions to enrich students' knowledge in the field of science. The science club fosters a scientific and rational attitude. The club strives tirelessly to inspire pupils to reach greater heights.

Commerce and Eco Club
Commerce and Economics Club is one of the most vibrant clubs at the school, which, through its various activities,creates a nexus where theory intersects with practice and experiences are formed. Many of its members have achieved milestones in both the co-curricular and academic areas. As a part of its tradition, the club organized various activities wherein students of classes XI and XII were made aware of the various modes of online payments and were geared up to use them actively in their day-to-day life. They were also equipped with secure means of conducting electronic transactions. Students were also motivated to contribute to their family’s income in tough pandemic times, by taking up freelancing online part time jobs or work from home options etc. Keeping pace with the philanthropic nature of the club, its members conducted prayers from time to time beseeching God to put an end to the threatening pandemic. Thus, the club strives to develop business acumen, an entrepreneurial outlook as well as to preserve the essence of humility in students.

Humanities Club
Humanities Club enables the students to develop a global perspective by studying different cultures throughout the world. It also helps the students to deepen their understanding and appreciation of other people's cultures and perspectives. It also provides a platform for students who are interested in Humanities .The club encourages the students to be actively involved in activities related to History, Political Science ,Economics, Sociology and Psychology.

Different Strokes - The Art Club
The brush strokes, the canvas and my imagination infuse me with an endless sense of creative expression, allowing me to explore the innate abilities that are buried deep within me. The study of art can be an outlet and can provide quite a few significant benefits for high school students. Art can relieve stress, which can be a new and intense emotion for high scholars. Once ensconced in an art club, students are expected to brainstorm new activities to stoke their creative fires.
The art club provides splashes of colour along the corridors and in the lunch room, gym, auditorium and other open spaces. The art club can create a bevy of pieces to brighten the walls as well as the students' day. Activities like Banners for upcoming sporting events Flyers for try-outs for sports teams, drama productions and other extracurricular activities, Posters for book fairs or college fairs, Locker-decorating contests.

Rhyme And Rhythm Club
'Music is the universal language of mankind.' It is the most ideal form of all the fine arts. This most ancient art form is not just confined to classical music. It also includes contemporary, devotional, folk and various other forms.
Rhyme and Rhythm club strives to create awareness among students about various forms of music and also to enhance their musical abilities. In tandem with this belief, the club conducts various activities throughout the year. It provides them with a platform to showcase and amplify their musical calibre by participating in morning assemblies, inter-school competitions, activities etc.
Students from the middle and senior section participated in the Solo Singing competition organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad and brought accolades by securing second position. They also made us the school proud by securing first position in Cultural Fest- Indian Folk Vibes which was organised in the premises of MPGS, SN and had participants from various branches of MPS Group. The club provided dance decorations throughout the session. The students participated in different activities designed under the CBSE portfolio Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Aside from the above, the club also holds inter- and intra-school drawing and creative competitions.

Charismatic Visionaries
As part of their passion for spreading their aura and charm, visionaries at the charismatic club are constantly coming up with innovative and fresh ideas. The club provided its prolific and resourceful input into the planning of Cultural Fest-Indian Folk Vibes. The members of the club also give creative ideas from time to time for conducting various activities suggested by CBSE as a part of the curriculum. The members of the club with expertise in different fields such as painting, dramatics, calligraphy, dance, drama and literature voluntarily participate and showcase their talents and charisma.

Photography Club
The purpose of the photography club is to encourage students to pursue their passion for photography. Being in the infancy stage of the club, it aims to organize regular meetings and discussions to organize events such as photo walks, field trips, and school campus photography. A two-day activity was organised on the school campus where the students exhibited their photography talents.
