Celebrating 80 Years of Freedom: Independence Day at MPSFG

“At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom.”

Meerut Public School For Girls celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour, national pride, and a strong commitment to nation-building. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag and the singing of the National Anthem.

Students paid tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters through patriotic songs, group performances, dances, poems, speeches, and skits, beautifully portraying India’s inspiring journey of freedom and unity.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was highlighted through creative activities and awareness initiatives, encouraging students to honour the National Flag and spread the spirit of patriotism.

Under the theme “Azadi Se Aatmanirbharta Tak – Viksit Bharat 2047,” students explored their role in nation-building through education, innovation, science and technology, skill development, environmental conservation, and social responsibility. The celebrations also featured a vibrant Kaushal Parade, in which NCC cadets and members of the Students’ Council showcased discipline, leadership, confidence, and patriotic spirit through their march.

The celebrations concluded with a pledge to contribute towards a strong, self-reliant, united, and developed India, strengthening the values of patriotism, discipline, responsibility, and national unity among students.
