Foundational Stage Sports Day : Khel Bhi Kaushal Bhi

The Foundational Stage Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm,reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic, joyful, and experiential learning. Based on the theme “Khel Bhi Kaushal Bhi”, the event highlighted the vital role of play in nurturing physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development among young learners.

The programme began with the welcome of the guest, Dr. Umang Arora followed by a respectful tribute to Late Shri Tarachand Shastri Ji. In her inspiring address, Ms. Rachna Sharma, Principal, emphasised the importance of sports and movement in the foundational years. The formal inauguration included a disciplined March Past by Class II, the Oath Taking Ceremony, and the Lighting of the Torch, instilling values of teamwork, fairness, and sportsmanship.

Specially designed races for Balvatika 1, 2 and 3 ensured joyful participation and age-appropriate engagement. A lively Zumba performance by Class I infused energy into the celebration, followed by competitive races for Classes I and II, encouraging confidence, coordination, and perseverance.

The event also featured races with students from other schools, promoting healthy interaction, collaboration, and camaraderie. Winners were honoured during the prize distribution ceremony, reinforcing the importance of effort, participation, and positive spirit.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, addresses by the Chief Guest and Honourable Management, a vibrant grand finale, the National Anthem and a memorable group photograph.

The Foundational Stage Sports Day beautifully reflected NCF-SE’s emphasis on learning through play, nurturing well-rounded development and joyful learning experiences for every child.
