Parents' Orientation Programme-Two Board Examination System

In its continued commitment to fostering holistic development and transparent communication, Meerut Public School for Girls organized a comprehensive Parent Orientation Programme to introduce and explain the newly implemented Two-Board Examination System for the academic session 2025–26, in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The session aimed to empower parents with a clear understanding of this new examination structure, designed to reduce academic stress, encourage continuous learning, and offer flexible assessment pathways. Parents were briefed that while the first Board examination is mandatory, the second Board offers an optional opportunity to improve performance in up to three subjects. Students placed in the Compartment category will be eligible for the second exam, while those absent in three or more subjects will be placed under the Essential Repeat category, eligible to reappear the following year.

Guidelines related to CWSN provisions, result timelines, and DigiLocker access for final documents were also shared in detail.

The session highlighted the invaluable role parents play in a child’s academic journey—supporting disciplined routines, promoting mental well-being, and celebrating consistent efforts. Their active participation reflected the school’s deep belief that true education is a shared responsibility.
