Investiture Ceremony

Meerut Public School for Girls conducted its Investiture Ceremony with great zeal and dignity. Arjuna Awardee Mr. Ashok Dhyan Chand presided as the Chief Guest, while state-level shooter Ms. Pratibha Joshi graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony began with a warm welcome, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and a green welcome, symbolized by the presentation of a sapling. Managing Directors of MPS Group, Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri and Ms. Ketiki Singh Shastri, along with Principal Mrs. Rachna Sharma, graciously participated in this symbolic gesture, adding to the occasion’s significance.

Students from Gandhi, Nehru, Shastri, and Tagore Houses marched in impeccable formation under the leadership of their house captains. Gandhi House was awarded the Best House March-Past Trophy for its precision, coordination, and spirit.

Principal Mrs. Rachna Sharma administered the oath to the newly elected Student Council, conferring leadership roles upon Dhriti Jain as Head Girl, Anvi as Vice Head Girl, and Zainab Khan as Sports Captain. Badges of office were also presented to house captains and presidents of various clubs, including Literary, STEM, Aesthetic, Photography, Social Media, and Debate.

Vanshika Chaudhary was honoured with the prestigious Mrs. Kusum Shastri Award, recognizing her exceptional commitment and leadership qualities. In his inspiring address, Mr. Dhyan Chand underscored the importance of discipline and urged the young leaders to be advocates of women’s empowerment. Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri addressed the gathering, encouraging the council members to lead with integrity, empathy, and vision.
