Investiture Ceremony 2026–27: Celebrating leadership, responsibility, and the spirit of excellence

The Investiture Ceremony for the Student Council 2026–27 was conducted with great dignity at Meerut Public School for Girls, West End Road, Meerut, on 4 May, 2026. The ceremony aimed to instil leadership, discipline, and a sense of responsibility among students.

The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Colonel Hopender Thakur, along with the Guests of Honour, Mr. Puneet Kathuria and Mr. Neeraj Narang. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by an address by Principal Mrs. Rachna Sharma, who encouraged students to uphold discipline and discharge their responsibilities with dedication.

Following the march past, the newly elected council members took the oath of office. Anvi of Class XII-H was appointed Head Girl, while Ananya Jain received the Mrs. Kusum Shastri Award. The Best House Trophy was awarded to Shastri House.

The Chief Guest inspired students to develop strong leadership qualities, while a presentation by students of Classes VI and VII added further meaning to the occasion. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
