India won her freedom on the 15th of August,1947, and became a Republic on the 26th of January 1950. It is a day of national rejoicing and a red-letter day in our country. The day is celebrated with pomp and show, zeal and spirit, throughout the length and breadth of the country.

The day was celebrated with great eclat at MEERUT PUBLIC SCHOOL FOR GIRLS simultaneously online as well as offline.
Students could see their school building tastefully decorated with flower pots, pictures of freedom fighters, beautifully decorated board.

The honourable Principal, Ms. Harjinder Kaur unfurled the national flag amidst loud cheers by the Coordinators and the Admin staff on this 73 rd RepublicDay.To add more sweetness to the day sweets were distributed.

Students displayed their patriotic zeal through the Promethean videos entirely created by them. These exclusive Student-Led-Creations won everyone's applause and made every soul smile.

Principal Ma'am made a very impressive speech and motivated the students to know about the freedom fighters and toil in such a manner that this land continues making celebrations and success. She further added that Freedom was not won easy, it was at the cost of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, so we should never take it for granted. May we continue celebrating this day forever!
