Reflecting the timeless message of the shloka - that a Guru’s words, guidance and grace illuminate the path of a learner, Meerut Public School – The First Step celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5 September 2026, honouring the teachers who guide and encourage students each day while remembering the life and contribution of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
A special assembly presented by students of Grade V marked the occasion, with the little ones of Grades I and II adding to the celebration through song and dance performances. The programme continued with games and refreshments for the teachers, bringing a cheerful and informal close to the day.
The celebration was an expression of gratitude to the Gurus whose guidance helps young learners discover, grow and continue their journey ‘To Greater Heights’.
