Basant Panchami is celebrated in reverence to the Hindu deity Maa Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. It also marks the arrival of 'Spring Season'.
The festival of spring was traditionally celebrated with great fervour in MPSTFS on 4th February, 2022. The day started with auspicious ceremony of 'Saraswati Puja', wherein The Principal along with the coordinators and staff members worshipped goddess Saraswati to invoke the divine blessings. The Hymn and the shlokas glorifying Maa Saraswati echoed in the school premises.
The students were dressed up in yellow attire and offered virtual prayers. They enthusiastically participated in various virtual activities like colourful kite making.
The Principal Ms. Sonu Sahni, wished all on this auspicious occasion ‘May the Goddess Saraswati enlighten every one with the light of knowledge and happiness’!
