Earthquake Mock Drill

"Training proves to be the key ingredient to handling any disaster."- Walter Maddox

Safety is better than cure, this has been wisely said. Keeping this in mind, and to train the students to evacuate the school premises during an emergency, an Earthquake Mock Drill was organised at MPSTFS, on 8th July '22. The ‘evacuation’ operation began moments after the alarm rang out loud and alerted everyone. The students immediately evacuated their classrooms. Led by their teachers, they exited from various points to assemble in the assembly ground, under the guidance of the PT instructors.

The students were made aware about Earthquake and all safety measures to be taken wherein with the ringing of the first bell the students dropped down on their knees and hid under their study tables.

They were also told to move with bags on their heads to avoid any injury on head.

The students showed great promptness while doing the drill.
