National Sports Day

'Winners never quit and Quitters never win. Sports do not build character, they reveal it.'

National Sports Day is celebrated every year on 29 August as the birth anniversary of Hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand.

The idiom “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” holds true even for the young learners. In recognition of the importance of sports in one’s life, the students of MPSTFS celebrated National Sports Day with great zeal.
The achievements of Major Dhyan Chand were very well presented through a speech followed by a quiz.
To exhibit the true sportsmanship, the students participated in various sporting activities. These are the means of entertainment and physical activity for them.
The Principal, Ms. Sonu Sahni congratulated all the students on their active participation in sports and games and exhorted them to keep up the sportsman spirit in its true sense.
