Children's Day Celebration

"Every child is a different kind of flower and all together makes this world a beautiful garden."

November 14 is celebrated as Children's Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India's first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889. Pt. Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji, was very popular amongst children for his love.

A day marking childhood was celebrated with fun and frolic at MPSTFS. The celebration began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers. The speech apprising the significance of the day was delivered, followed by poems, riddles and fun games and activities. Students laughed boisterously at their jokes.

Teachers exhibited their love and affection for the students by tapping their feet with the young leaders of our nation. The Principal, Ms. Sonu Sahni blessed the students and asked to keep the spirit of child alive within us. In her words of wisdom she added all the good wishes for blooming buds of our nation.

The environment was buzzing with excitement and joy.
