Literary Fest - 'Travel Logs'

"Travelling- it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller"- Ibn Battuta

To raise awareness about our diverse cultural heritage and to convey a significant message to future generations about the importance of carrying on their legacy and preserving our culture, Meerut Public School 'The First Step' hosted Interbranch Literary Fest 2021- 'TRAVEL LOGS' On 24th December, 2021.

The dignitaries - Esteemed chief guest Col. Navin Chandra Sharma, The renowned judges Mrs. Ritu Kela( Psyschologist/Counselor) , Dr. Bhawna Gandhi(Nutritionist/ Dietician), Reverend Managing Director MPS Group Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri, Honourable MPS Group Advisor Mrs. Richa Sharma and Respected MPS Group Counselor Mrs. Divya Goel were given a heartiest welcome by Principal ma'am Ms. Sonu Sahni.

The dignitaries inaugurated the event by lighting the auspicious lamp while to invoke the blessings of the goddess of knowledge, Maa Saraswati and to make the event a success, the teachers choir sang the Saraswati Vandana. The enthralling dance of the little angels left everybody spellbound.

The Globe trotters of class I- III showcased their zealous participation in Group A- The Seven Wonders of the World', whereas the Stars of class IV-VI waved around in Group B - UNSECO's World Heritage Sites Located in India'. The young travel guides imitated the real life ones to present the fascinating and interesting significances of the ancient wonders.

The dignitaries appreciated the presentation skills and the efforts of the participants. The Managing Director Sir motivated and applauded the students for showcasing their talents. The Principal Ms. Sonu Sahni expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the gathering. The show came to an end with the winners grabbing their trophies and certificates. The winning trophy was won by MPGS, Shastri Nagar.

The Santa showered the blessings followed by the proposal of vote of thanks. The event culminated with the National Anthem. The event was made memorable by the efforts put in by the budding stars and their mentors.
