On 19 December, 2025, Meerut Public School, The First Step hosted a grand stage production, Agni Pankh – Kalam ki Udaan, a heartfelt tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Bhawna Grover, Kathak Exponent and Head of the Department of Performing Arts, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, and Dr. Deeksha Yajurvedi, Department of Chemistry, Raghunath Girls’ Post Graduate College, Meerut, as the Guest of Honour and Ms. Madhu Sirohi, Governing Council Member, MPS Group.
The play beautifully traced Dr. Kalam’s inspiring journey from the shores of Rameshwaram to Rashtrapati Bhawan, highlighting his unwavering determination, humility, and commitment to excellence.
Through expressive
performances, students conveyed powerful messages of hard work,
resilience, and dreaming big, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
The insightful words of wisdom and generous appreciation shared by the distinguished guests greatly motivated the students to soar, “To Greater Heights.”
The Principal, Ms. Sonu Sahni, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the guests, parents, teachers and students for their unwavering support, dedication and collective efforts in making the event a memorable success.
