On the occasion of Janmashtami, the young learners of Balvatika 3B at MPS, Shraddhapuri II, stepped into the world of traditional food practices through a joyful hands-on experience of churning butter.
Connecting the experience with stories of Lord Krishna and his love for butter, the children observed how curd gradually transforms into butter through the churning process. The activity encouraged them to notice changes, ask questions and understand a familiar tradition through direct experience.
By combining storytelling with a simple food-based activity, the celebration helped children connect Janmashtami with everyday cultural practices in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.
