A Step Towards Greener Future: Tree Plantation at MPGS

Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar organised a Tree Plantation Drive involving students of the Middle School, along with teachers and parents.

Saplings were planted not only on the school campus, but also at students’ homes, nearby parks and residential colonies, extending the initiative beyond the school premises. An important part of the drive was guiding students on the care and maintenance of newly planted saplings, helping them understand that planting is only the first step in ensuring their survival and growth.

Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja and the School Management appreciated the participation of students, parents and teachers and highlighted the importance of trees in sustaining a healthy environment.

The initiative encouraged students to take practical responsibility for the green spaces around them and understand the importance of caring for the saplings they plant.
