Diwali Celebrations

"On this illuminating festival of lights, may the glow of joy, prosperity and happiness light up your days in the year ahead."

A Diwali Poojan was performed in Meerut Public School, Main Wing on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras i.e. on 2nd November, 2021, wherein the School Management and Staff offered obeisance to Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati. The benevolent Management wished a very happy and prosperous Diwali to all and stressed on the importance of celebrating eco- friendly and cracker- free Diwali.

On the propitious occasion, students of Meerut Public School, Main Wing celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and excitement. Tastefully decorated school campus added charm and religious fervour to the atmosphere. A Nukkad Natak.... Say no to crackers, was also presented by the students, sensitizing all about the harmful effects of crackers. Chaupais from the holy epic Ramayana were recited to spread awareness about the importance of the great scripture.

The little Mpiets projected the importance of Diwali through the skit, " Ignite the Nobility of your Spirit", wherein they decided to induce sweetness and harmony in life by gifting sweetmeats and chocolates to their near and dear ones.

The students of Middle Wing tried to explain the scientific aspect of the festival through their small PowerPoint presentations "The Science behind Diwali".

Everyone went home carrying the message of love, peace, togetherness and gaiety.
