Diwali Celebrations

“Diwali spiritually signifies the Victory of Light over Darkness, Good over Evil, Knowledge over Ignorance and Hope over Despair”

A Diwali Poojan was performed in Meerut Public School, Main Wing on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras i.e. 12^th November 2020 wherein the School Management and staff offered their obeisance to Goddess Lakshmi (deity of health and wealth), Lord Ganesha (Lord of good luck and prosperity) and Goddess Saraswati (the goddess of knowledge and wisdom). The benevolent Management wished a very happy and prosperous Diwali to all and stressed on the importance of celebrating Eco-Friendly and Cracker-Free Diwali in the safe confines of our homes.

On the propitious occasion, students also displayed their aesthetic sense by decorating diyas, candles and lanterns with ribbons, beads, shells, stars, mirrors, glitters etc. They also prepared Rangoli in various designs ranging from geometrical to floral patterns.

Indeed, Diwali is the best of times — a time to celebrate life, to express the joy of living, forgiving, forgetting and coming together.
