“UNITY IS STRENGTH…….WHEN THERE IS TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION, WONDERFUL THINGS CAN BE ACHIEVED”.
Meerut Public School celebrated National Unity Day on 31st Oct ’19 to commemorate the 144th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The student speakers in the Special Assembly expressed their views on the significant contribution of the great leader in uniting and converting our country of kingdoms to country of States.
It was followed by an Oath Ceremony, wherein the students and teachers solemnly pledged to stand for Unity and Integrity of the nation and resolved to spread the message of peace and harmony among their fellow countrymen.
An Essay Writing competition was also organized in the School for students of Class IX and XI to arouse the interest of the students in the great works of The Iron Man of India and to give a message that we should all walk on his footsteps as National Unity is of prime importance for the progress, security and development of the nation.
In order to extend its heartfelt appreciation about the life and the involvement of the great leader, a Poster Making Competition was also organized in the Primary Wing where the students of the Primary section were at their creative best, designing visually appealing posters of the venerable leader.
