“Where Ideas Meet Innovations”
The Annual Exhibition is an integral part of school activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation and festivity when students not only present their exhibits but also receive appreciation for their hard work. Meerut Public School, Main Wing organized its Annual School Exhibition SPECTRUM - “Where Ideas meet Innovations” on Thursday, 24 October ‘19.
The school campus reverberated with activity as the students and teachers put up subject specific stalls, displaying projects and models created by the students. It was a platform provided to the students to showcase their latent talent in front of others and feel proud of their achievements. The event was graced by the presence of Distinguished Chief Guest Mr. Rajeev Agarwal, Sr. Heart Specialist and the Honourable Management of Meerut Public School Group.
The enchanting skit “My Fair Lady” by the English Club left everyone mesmerised. The classical Kathak dancers from the Cultural Group really held everyone captive. A patriotic medley, a musical extravaganza by the School band “Blue Rockers” was a perfect icing on the cake. An exquisite display of yogic postures by our young and dynamic MPITES and the freestyle movements of the young agile skaters was a true embodiment of precision and Team Work of the Physical Education Club.
Hundreds of displays dotted several sections of the School with participation of students ranging from classes 1 to 12. Students had made still models, working models, charts and posters to present their topics. The intriguing Science experiments, scholarly discussions on Green Chemistry and Digital India, practical application of Math concepts, and the alluring world of Gandhiji were all interestingly explained with ingenuity in the most non-complex manner. Students’ vast knowledge about Space and Astronomy was spellbinding. Students aesthetic sense in various art like pencil sketch, painting, sculptures with clay and plaster, print making like mono prints, etching and serigraphy, pottery and textile dyeing were a feast to the eyes. Each corridor became a celebration in itself as little MPITES enthusiastically beckoned visitors to stop by and visit their discoveries. The exhibition received huge appreciation from all. The zeal and enthusiasm showcased by the students left the visitors amazed.
The First Prize of the Exhibition was clinched by the spellbinding English Skit presented by the English Dept followed by the “Impressive Impressions”, an exquisite display of paintings by the students of Fine Arts Dept. Tarana-the Classical Kathak Dance presented by the Cultural Club bagged the Third Prize. The consolation prize was shared by the Physical Education Dept. and the SST Dept. for their fine tribute to Gandhiji.02-03-2021
