The act of voting is the most important contribution every single eligible voter can make to ensure the health of our democracy. Yet, year after year, a discouraging number of eligible voters choose not to pull the lever out of power. A special assembly for students was conducted at MPS Main Wing to generate awareness and emphasize the importance of voting. Students were enlightened about the fact that in order to get access to good education, better health care, child care, fair tax policies, basic income, better routes, transport facilities, and other basic amenities, choosing the most deserving candidate is of utmost significance. The students also took a pledge that they would encourage and spread this message to all they associate with, be it friends or family.
